JOB DESCRIPTION

 

This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon the renewal and continued availability of grant funding. If grant funding is reduced, discontinued, or not renewed, this position may be modified or eliminated.

 

 

Title:                    Classroom Monitor

Reports to:                        Assigned Teacher(s)

Evaluator:                            Elementary Principal

Job Objective: This position provides assistance and supervision for children during daily classroom activities, lunch and/or assigned recesses to ensure a positive and safe environment.

Minimum Qualifications: • Meets highly qualified standards. Valid state department of education license/certificate appropriate for the position.
